Here are the conditions for getting 3 Stars from a battle:
1.All heroes survived the battle. You get 2 Stars if 1 hero dies, 1 Star if more than 1 hero dies.
2. You win the battle in no more than 5 rounds. You only get 2 Stars from more than 5 rounds.
Please note that you will get a maximum of 2 Stars if you battled with a rented hero from your Guild.
